In October 2019, the Gullfaks and Snorre licence partners led by Equinor took the final investment decision for Hywind Tampen, approving an investment of close to NOK 5 billion and underpinning the award of contracts worth about NOK 3.3 billion for turbines, floating substructures, and export and inter-array cables.
