In March 2019 the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum approved the Environmental Impact Assessment for the Hywind Tampen floating wind farm, confirming that the project’s assessed environmental impacts were acceptable for permitting. This EIA approval was one of several key regulatory decisions enabling the project to progress toward development consent and construction.
