On 31 October 2019, Equinor, on behalf of the Gullfaks and Snorre partners, signed a contract with JDR Cable Systems Ltd for Hywind Tampen covering the design, procurement, fabrication, and delivery of the export and inter-array cables for the floating wind farm’s 66 kV connection to the Snorre and Gullfaks platforms.
