Origo Solutions was awarded a contract to develop and supply the SCADA system for the Hywind Scotland Pilot Park, covering control and data acquisition for the five floating turbines and the onshore substation. The scope includes design, production, testing and commissioning using Siemens technology, with IEC 61850 interfaces to electrical control devices and integration of anchor monitoring, ballast, weather and auxiliary systems; the project had already started, with first delivery planned for September 2016 ahead of park operation in late 2017.
