Asso.subsea completed the installation phase of HOPS’ 110 kV submarine cable replacement project in Croatia, including the southern section that links Prapatna–Medvidbad and Travna–Slatina between the islands of Brač, Hvar and Korčula. Working for contractor Končar on behalf of transmission system operator HOPS, the company transported and installed four 110 kV cable systems totaling about 30 km and approximately 30,500 m of new 630 mm² submarine cables, replacing the old links; HOPS separately noted that the Brač–Hvar–Korčula submarine cable replacement was realised in the same campaign.
