Description
CG Power Solutions UK Limited was appointed as main contractor for the offshore substation electrical equipment on the Humber Gateway transmission assets. Its contract covered the design and supply of the offshore substation platform electrical equipment decks, including high-voltage switchgear and ancillary systems, delivered as modular decks for integration on the topside. The work provided the core electrical functionality of the single offshore HVAC substation that collects power from the wind farm and exports it to shore. CG Power Solutions substantially completed this scope by Q4 2013, ahead of offshore installation.
