Balfour Beatty’s Power Transmission and Distribution business was responsible for operations and maintenance of the Humber Gateway OFTO assets following the consortium’s financial close. The O&M scope included the onshore substation and offshore substation, plus two export cable circuits described as 18 km of subsea cable and 30 km land route (two parallel circuits), for the OFTO link connecting the Humber Gateway offshore wind farm to the onshore transmission grid.
