On 15 June 2017, the Dutch Minister updated the Development Framework for Offshore Wind Energy to set a final delivery date for completion of the part of the offshore grid that connects Hollandse Kust (zuid) Wind Farm Sites I and II to the onshore high-voltage grid. This measure established the regulatory deadline for TenneT’s 700 MW Hollandse Kust Zuid Alpha AC grid connection, which links the HKZ I & II wind farms to shore at Maasvlakte.
