Description
Heerema Marine Contractors was contracted by Heerema Fabrication Group to transport and install the HelWin Beta offshore HVDC converter platform for the HelWin2 grid connection (end client TenneT). The work included transport and installation of the jacket, piles, topside and bridge, executed over two offshore campaigns in 2014 (jacket and piles in May 2014; topside and bridge in July 2014) using the heavy lift vessel Thialf.
