Description
Heerema Fabrication Group (HFG) secured an EPCI contract from Siemens (on behalf of grid operator TenneT) for the HelWin2 offshore HVDC converter platform (HelWin Beta). HFG’s scope comprised engineering, procurement, construction and installation of the offshore platform, including fabrication of the topsides at Zwijndrecht and fabrication of the jacket and bridge at Vlissingen, with offshore installation planned/executed in 2014.
