Description
EDS HV acted as the O&M operator for the Gwynt y Môr OFTO transmission assets and carried out planned maintenance in accordance with maintenance plans agreed by the OFTO and the lenders’ technical advisor. The scope included outages in July and August 2023 to repair oil leaks on one of the two super grid transformers, replace a failed air bag in the other super grid transformer, and replace the oil in one 400 kV cable termination at the onshore substation.
