Description
HSM Offshore Energy leads the HSI joint venture consortium (with Smulders/Eiffage and Iv-Offshore and Energy) that was awarded the EPCI contract by 50Hertz and Skyborn Renewables in December 2022 for the two offshore substations serving the OST-6-1 grid connection. The consortium is responsible for planning, engineering, component procurement, construction, offshore installation and commissioning of both OSS Darß and OSS Zingst platforms and their jacket foundations. Fabrication was carried out at consortium yards in the Netherlands and Belgium. OSS Darß topside was rolled out in October 2025 and OSS Zingst topside in February 2026.
