Seaway Heavy Lifting

Seaway Heavy Lifting installed the offshore substation for the Galloper project, which is included in the Galloper OFTO transmission asset package. Using its heavy-lift vessel Oleg Strashnov, Seaway Heavy Lifting lifted and installed the prefabricated topside and the jacket foundation fabricated by Heerema Fabrication Group at the Galloper offshore site in the Outer Thames Estuary. This work positioned and secured the 33/132 kV offshore substation platform that connects the wind farm to the export cable system and onward to the onshore grid. Lifecycle stage: construction.
