In April 2022, Galatea‑Galene Nät AB, on behalf of OX2, opened a statutory public consultation on the planned sea and land grid connection cables for the Galatea‑Galene offshore wind farm (including Galene), inviting authorities, municipalities, landowners, organisations and the public to submit views on route corridors, design and environmental impacts, with comments requested by 20 May 2022.
