According to GlobalData’s profile of the Galatea-Galene offshore wind farm, which includes the Galatea sub-area off Halland in the Kattegat, the 1,700 MW project being developed by OX2 and Ingka Investments is expected to enter full commercial operation by 2030. The single-phase project, located in Sweden’s Kattegat region, is planned to supply around 6 TWh of electricity annually once fully operational.
