The Emerald (Sirius + Endurance) Export transmission system is planned to achieve first power in 2030, when the initial 400 MW Sirius phase of the Emerald Floating Wind project will commence operations and be connected at 220 kV to the Irish transmission system via the offshore export cables, offshore substations, landfall and onshore cable network in the Cork area.
