Zublin

German ground engineering company Zublin held the ElecLink Lot 2 contract to install the piling requirements and associated works for the UK HVDC converter station at the Eurotunnel terminal in Folkestone. Under this package Zublin was responsible for the converter station’s foundation and related civil works and engaged Gallagher Group as a subcontractor to execute extensive groundworks, including piling platforms, retaining structures, drainage and associated activities within the constrained Channel Tunnel terminal site.
