Nexans will supply and install approximately 100 km of 275 kV high-voltage subsea export cables and 55 km of onshore cables connecting the East Anglia TWO offshore wind farm to the UK electricity grid.
ScottishPower Renewables awarded Nexans a contract for the East Anglia TWO offshore wind farm export system to supply and install the high-voltage export cable connection between the offshore substation and the UK onshore grid in Suffolk. Under the agreement, Nexans will manufacture at its Halden (Norway) and Charleroi (Belgium) plants and then install approximately 100 km of 275 kV subsea export cables and 55 km of onshore export cables. The works cover both offshore and onshore sections of the export system, with installation scheduled for 2027–2028 and completion targeted by the end of 2028.
