Description
ScottishPower Renewables awarded HSM Offshore Energy an EPCIC (engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning) contract for the East Anglia TWO offshore substation and its jacket foundation, supporting the 960 MW East Anglia TWO grid connection. HSM Offshore Energy was to deliver a 5,100 mt offshore high-voltage substation topside and a 3,700 mt jacket foundation. Initial engineering work began under an early works agreement in summer 2024, with construction expected to start in Q4 2025, the jacket targeted for installation readiness in Q3 2027, and topside delivery in late 2027.
