Structural Soils (an RSK company) was commissioned by Scottish Power Renewables to undertake site investigation works for the East Anglia ONE offshore wind farm onshore cable route, covering the landfall approach and major horizontal directional drilling (HDD) crossings. The scope included geophysical surveys (bathymetry, side-scan sonar, magnetometer and sub-bottom profiling, plus land-based seismic profiling) and geotechnical investigations (CPTs, vibrocores and geotechnical boreholes) in the nearshore and onshore landfall/riverbank areas to support HDD planning and cable crossing design.
