In 2013, East Anglia ONE Limited engaged OWC to begin offshore site investigation activities for the East Anglia ONE project, including development of a ground model and deployment of the SI LIVE 1.0 tool for a real-time offshore site investigation (SI) campaign. This early survey work supported the design and risk management for the project’s infrastructure, including the export cable route and associated transmission assets that would later form the East Anglia ONE OFTO system connecting the wind farm to the Bramford grid connection point.
