In May 2015 the EA1 developer launched the offshore substation procurement by releasing pre-qualification questionnaire documentation to several potential bidders for a lump-sum contract to supply, fabricate and commission the offshore substation jackets, piles and topside, including low-voltage electrical systems and load-out.
