By March 2015, East Anglia ONE Limited had secured a grid connection agreement for the East Anglia ONE project, covering the transmission system that links the offshore wind farm to the UK national grid. The agreement specified a grid connection date in December 2018, enabling the later development and transfer of the East Anglia ONE offshore transmission assets (including the offshore platform, export cables and onshore substation connection at Bramford) that now form the East Anglia ONE OFTO.
