DeepOcean commenced installation of the two 85 km HVAC export cables for the 714 MW East Anglia ONE offshore wind farm in 2018, using the Maersk Connector vessel with its 7,000-tonne carousel and ACP2 cable plough. The cables were simultaneously laid and buried, connecting the offshore substation to the onshore grid in Suffolk.
