Dudgeon Offshore Wind Limited scheduled the start of onshore construction for the Dudgeon export transmission system in 2015, with contractor Visser & Smit Marine Contracting B.V. to perform two approximately 1.1 km horizontal directional drillings at the landfall to create ducts for the twin 42 km export cables linking the offshore substation to shore in North Norfolk.
