Description
IQIP was selected to deploy its EQ‑Piling low-noise monopile installation technology for the first full-scale offshore demonstration at EnBW’s planned 1 GW Dreekant offshore wind farm site in German waters. The demonstration aimed to validate reduced underwater noise during monopile installation without additional bubble curtains, potentially reducing supporting vessel requirements and associated CO₂ emissions. IQIP engaged DEME to execute the offshore installation activity using DEME’s floating installation vessel Orion, with EnBW supporting permitting and site access for the test.
