Description
TenneT awarded the Aibel/Keppel FELS consortium a contract to supply the DolWin5 HVDC offshore converter platform (DolWin epsilon) and an onshore converter station. Within the consortium, Aibel was responsible for engineering and procurement, while Keppel FELS’ yard in Singapore constructed the converter platform. After transport to Haugesund, Aibel installed the HVDC conversion equipment and carried out commissioning and offshore installation of the converter platform.
