Description
Siemens Energy was commissioned by Amprion Offshore GmbH (within the Siemens Energy/Dragados Offshore consortium) to supply the HVDC conversion technology for DolWin4, including the HVDC converters and auxiliary systems for the offshore converter station and the complete onshore converter station. Siemens Energy also took responsibility for turnkey delivery of the converter-station technology and committed to maintenance of the converter solutions for an initial period of 10 years (covering the converter systems associated with the offshore and onshore stations).
