Description
Boskalis was contracted to support installation of the DolWin beta offshore HVDC converter platform for the DolWin2 project. The scope included site marking via cardinal buoy installation; pre- and post-installation scour protection and ballasting after platform installation (including pre-laid scour protection by the flexible fallpipe vessel Rockpiper); and marine logistics and offshore operations during installation, including anchor-handling support and tug assistance for positioning and ballasting the platform onto the prepared seabed foundation.
