"Phase B of the Cyclades Interconnection has been completed in September 2020... Paros - Naxos connection with a submarine tripolar cable with a length of 7.6 km." [3] "In 2018, Hellenic Cables won the contract for the supply of high voltage submarine cables for Phase B of the Cyclades interconnection. The contract included the design, manufacturing, installation, protection, termination works and testing of approximately 52 kilometres of 150 kV AC three-core submarine cables, with XPLE insulation and an integrated 24 fiber optics cable." [12]
Hellenic Cables held the main contract for the high‑voltage submarine cables for Phase B of the Cyclades Interconnection, which included the Paros–Naxos and Naxos–Mykonos links. The scope covered design, manufacturing, installation, protection, termination and testing of approximately 52 km of 150 kV AC three‑core XLPE‑insulated submarine cables with integrated fibre optics for the Phase B subsea elements. Within this, Hellenic Cables designed, manufactured and installed the 150 kV tripolar submarine cable of about 7.6 km route length that connects Paros and Naxos, providing Naxos with a high‑voltage connection into the mainland system via Paros. The work formed part of the construction phase of the project and was carried out under contract to IPTO.
