The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) awarded capital support to the multi-phase project "The Interconnection of Cyclades Islands with the National Mainland Interconnected Transmission System"—which includes Phase B’s Paros–Naxos and Naxos–Mykonos 150 kV links—contributing about EUR 138.2 million towards a total investment of roughly EUR 389.1 million under Greece’s “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship” and “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation” operational programmes for 2007–2013 and 2014–2020.
