Description
Asso.subsea carried out nearshore protection works and mattress installation for the Lavrio–Syros Interconnection in Greece. Working in the shallow-water approaches and landfall areas of the 150 kV HVAC cable route between Lavrio and Syros, the company installed concrete mattresses and related stabilisation and protection measures to safeguard the submarine power cable against hydrodynamic forces, fishing activity and other external aggression. These works formed part of the construction phase of the Lavrio–Syros Cyclades interconnector, ensuring long-term integrity of the export cable system at the critical nearshore sections.
