Crikvenica–Konjin (island of Krk) 110 kV HVAC submarine cable section executed under the wider Adriatic Sea Interconnections subsea cable replacement programme.
Asso.subsea provided subsea cable laying services on the Adriatic Sea Interconnections project, which involved replacing outdated submarine links with new 110 kV 3 × 630 mm² cables along multiple routes. As part of this programme, Asso.subsea undertook the marine transportation, installation, burial and protection of the new HVAC submarine cable sections, including the Crikvenica–Konjin (island of Krk) 110 kV link between the Croatian mainland and Krk. Using its specialist cable-laying vessels, Asso.subsea installed roughly 4.6 km of submarine cable for this route, contributing to the modernisation of Croatia’s island interconnections and improving the robustness of the grid connection to Krk.
