By the time key contracts were awarded in the second quarter of 2020, sea bottom studies for the Crete–Attica HVDC interconnector had been completed, providing the necessary seabed information to define the 335 km submarine cable route between Attica and Crete and supporting subsequent technical specification and permitting work.
