In 2017, Prysmian commenced submarine cable installation for the COBRAcable HVDC interconnector between Eemshaven (Netherlands) and Endrup (Denmark). The 325 km cable system was manufactured at Prysmian's Arco Felice factory and installed using Prysmian's cable-laying vessels with Asso.subsea providing protection services. The first subsea section made landfall in Denmark in November 2017.
