Burbo Bank Awarded a seabed lease under The Crown Estate's Offshore Wind Leasing Round 1 (R1), the UK's first offshore wind leasing round. R1 was launched in December 2000 and confirmed in April 2001, granting development rights to 18 small near-shore sites totalling around 1.5 GW around the coast of England and Wales.
