Jan De Nul Luxemburg SA, as part of a consortium with Hellenic Cables, signed a framework agreement with French TSO RTE for the Bretagne Sud grid connection works supporting the connection of the floating offshore wind farms off southern Brittany, including the 250 MW Pennavel project. Jan De Nul’s scope covered marine transport, laying and protection of the 225 kV HVAC export cable links (including seabed embedding/burial) between the offshore substation and shore, under an EPCI contract structure to be finalised in 2025–2026.
