DELAYED +-6mo (May 2026): RTE’s project page for the Bretagne Sud floating wind grid connection states the public inquiry (enquête publique) is planned for spring 2026 ("au printemps") rather than end-2026. --- RTE plans to hold a formal enquête publique (public inquiry) in 2026 for the Bretagne Sud grid connection that will link the Pennavel floating wind farm and a future 500 MW neighbour to shore. This public consultation will define the general route of the submarine and land cables and the precise locations of the offshore and onshore substations before final permitting decisions are made.
