DELAYED +1yr (May 2026): RTE’s project page for the Bretagne Sud floating wind grid connection now states “2027 : Début envisagé pour les travaux de raccordement”, pushing the start of onshore connection works later than the previously-assumed 2026 start (older brochures referenced 2026). --- RTE plans to start onshore grid connection works for the Bretagne Sud project in 2026, including construction of the onshore substation and land cable routes that will ultimately connect the shared 750 MW offshore platform serving Pennavel and the future AO9 Bretagne Sud 2 wind farm to the French transmission network.
