Onshore Construction Start

Statnett’s project manager stated that when onshore construction begins for the Indre Oslofjord reinvestment, there will be significant construction activity at the landfall areas at Filtvet and Solberg due to building new jointing stations and landfall facilities, including traffic from deliveries of concrete and materials, although the bulk of the work will take place at sea. This onshore work relates to the new subsea cable route between Solberg and Brenntangen, which will replace ageing cables to secure power supply to Eastern Norway.
