Description
De Romein GmbH worked as a subcontractor to NKT HV Cables AB on BorWin5, performing civil engineering and cable installation/laying works along the onshore route from the Hilgenriedersiel landfall to the Garrel/Ost converter station. The onshore route is described as approximately 110 km; for the project’s two parallel HVDC cables, this corresponds to about 220 km of onshore underground HVDC cable installed as part of the cable system works.
