Description
Pfisterer was subcontracted by Siemens Energy to deliver turnkey CONNEX cable connector and plug-in bushing systems for the BorWin4 (and DolWin4) offshore HVDC grid connection platforms. Pfisterer's scope covers the high-voltage HVDC cable connector and termination systems that interface the BorWin delta offshore converter platform and the Hanekenfähr onshore converter station with Prysmian's 320 kV HVDC export cable system. The contract was awarded on 26 February 2025 as part of Siemens Energy's broader converter-station scope on the twin DolWin4/BorWin4 programme.
