On 22 June 2018, MHI Vestas Offshore Wind was confirmed as the turbine supplier for the Blyth Offshore Wind Demonstration Project off the northeast coast of England, as it announced completion of installation and commissioning of five V164-8.4 MW turbines for EDF Renewables’ 41.5 MW demonstrator wind farm.
