In December 2013, Alstom completed the at‑sea installation of its new‑generation 6 MW Haliade 150 offshore wind turbine at the Belwind site off the Belgian coast, assembling the 78‑metre tower on the jacket and installing the nacelle and 150‑metre rotor. This marked the full mechanical completion of the single‑turbine offshore demonstration unit at Belwind Phase 2.
