Following first energisation and early production in 2014, the Belwind Haliade 150 demonstration turbine’s commissioning phase was extended, with the project reporting in 2014 that commissioning was expected to be finalised sometime in 2015. The turbine was already capable of producing 6 MW, but additional technical challenges meant that the full commissioning and test programme was planned to continue into 2015.
