On 10 October 2018, in a Tender Round 6 launch presentation for the Beatrice project, it was reported that construction of the Beatrice offshore transmission assets was near completion, with all consents in place and an initial transmission asset transfer value of approximately £498 million, ahead of transferring the assets to an offshore transmission owner.
