Under its export cable contract for the Beatrice offshore transmission assets, Nexans started installing the first of two 70 km, 220 kV HVAC subsea export cables that connect the 588 MW Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm in the Outer Moray Firth to the Scottish grid, as part of a total scope of around 140 km of submarine export cable for the Beatrice OFTO system.
