A March 31, 2025 news release from CRIST S.A. on the BC-Wind offshore substation contract quotes BC-Wind Project Director Kacper Kostrzewa stating that "The substation will be completed in 2027." Since CRIST is responsible for the design, construction, and commissioning of the offshore electrical substation, this completion date is taken as the expected commissioning of the OSS, projected for 2027.
