On 27 September 2011, Ofgem published its final cost assessment report for the Barrow transmission assets and determined an assessed transfer value of £33.557558 million. This ex-post valuation, derived after a multi‑year cost assessment process with the developer, was used by the Authority to set the final transfer price for the Barrow transmission assets and was incorporated by Transmission Capital Partners into the Barrow OFTO tender revenue stream.
