Jan De Nul Group, as part of a consortium with Hellenic Cables, was contracted by Equinor and Polenergia for the offshore export cable EPCI package for the Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 offshore wind farms. Jan De Nul's scope covers the transport, installation and protection of four 220 kV HVAC submarine export cables with a combined length of approximately 256 km connecting the two offshore substations to shore near Ustka. The consortium contract also includes seabed preparation works, with Jan De Nul deploying cable-laying vessels and support equipment for the offshore installation campaign planned for 2026. Boulder clearance works along the cable routes were subsequently added via contract amendments, with Helix Robotics Solutions as subcontractor using the i-Plough.
